KYLE PATRICK

Owner / Resident Artist

Since December 2014, Kyle has been honing his craft in the world of tattooing, specializing in blackwork. His signature style incorporates bold, precise outlining complemented by intricate fine-lined and dark dotwork detailing. Influenced by ancient lithographs from artists such as Albrecht Dürer and Gustave Doré, Kyle's artistic passion centers on nature, the occult, dark imagery, and fandom-related subjects.

Driven by a vision for an all-vegan and all-inclusive tattoo space, Kyle founded The Grey Ash, prioritizing clients' needs. Beyond the studio, Kyle enjoys quality time with his partner Courtney and their three huskies—Nanook, Haku, and Rem. Whether engaged in video games, anime, skateboarding, creating music, or collecting records, Kyle finds joy in diverse interests. As a travel enthusiast, Kyle actively incorporates guest spots and convention appearances into his yearly itinerary.

Kyle operates on a flat session rate of $1800 for all full day projects and a rate of $750-$900 for half day projects. To secure your booking, a $300 deposit is required, which will be deducted from the total cost of your tattoo. Kyle’s current schedule is Thursday through Monday.

LUKE KELLY

Resident Artist


Luke has been a tattoo artist since October 2019, specializing in illustrative fine-line blackwork. His distinctive style features thin intricate linework and dynamic dotwork, drawing inspiration from traditional tattoo imagery and nature. Luke excels in neo-traditional portraiture, the occult, gothic imagery, and manga. Beyond tattooing, Luke explores apparel design and wood burning as additional artistic expressions.

Here at The Grey Ash, Luke prioritizes creating a safe and accepting space, free from hate or discrimination, for all clients. Outside the studio, Luke, along with his partner Derek and dog Rasputin, leads a tranquil life. They indulge in building a video game collection, watching anime, enjoying horror movies, hiking, and exploring the country through travel.

Luke operates on a flat session rate of $1350 for all full day projects and a rate of $750 for half day projects. To secure your booking, a $300 deposit is required, which will be deducted from the total cost of your tattoo. Luke’s current schedule is Tuesday through Saturday.
